Bug has not occurred in quite some time for me so I'm going to close the

I'm experiencing the exact same problem, with the font size not only shrinking
randomly, but also getting bigger.
This seems to be the same as

though.

Now you mention it I am also seeing the font size get bigger on some
websites including launchpad (I had not noticed this before as I had put
the changes down to a strange choice of font sizes on the part of the
site designer.) It seems that I get the bigger font sizes on a very few
web pages
It seems there is a partial fix in bug 178558. Changing layout.css.dpi
to 96 in about:config seems to fix the large font sizes on some pages in
firefox. I've no idea if it solves the small text in liferea though, I
guess I'll just have to wait and see.
