Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
With Hardy Heron installed I immediately had difficulty booting. Booting behaves differently in a seemingly random pattern. On some occasions booting goes smoothly, on others it gets into a loop, repeatedly trying to boot, failing and retrying. One issue seems to be the video driver: it is referred to in the process Sometimes going to a recovery mode in the boot sequence works. It boots up in different ways on different occasions, often getting into some kind of an endless loop while trying to boot. There may be some issue with the video driver. Also once running, it seems to use an unusual amount of resources when idle--up to 50% of CPU for example. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/230901 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
