Wow, I haven't used that laptop for years, and I sent it to electronics
recycling a few months ago when it finally broke beyond repair (I had
passed it on to someone else to use)...
I have not seen that error message in a very long time, so I guess it's
been resolved! Feel free to close this bug
This bug report applies to a release that has long reached end-of-life,
and applied to a computer which has also, unfortunately, reached end-of-
life.
This bug has not been seen for years by the person who filed it (me).

I recently started getting this same error some time after I began
experimenting with making a bootable flash drive. I am only receiving
the first dialog though. Not the second. I do not receive any errors
when using the umount command in a terminal. Only when using the
graphical utility.
$ uname
