Unfortunately it happened again (few times already). During hibernate (while
writing to disk). System stoped. The last message was:

With kernel 2.6.27 I have not noticed this problem any more (at least so
far). I have other issue with hibernate now: second display goes to
suspend mode after restoring from hibernate. The work around is to
switch to text mode and back (ALT+F1 and ALT+F7).

The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:
1) If you are comfortable
Is there a way to install only kernel using apt?
Maybe there is a repository that I can add to my list of repositories
and then select to install kernel 2.6.26?
Currently I am using 2.6.24. However, it seems that stable version is
2.6.26. And then if the bug still exist upgrade it too 2.6.27.
