Public bug reported: I've installed all hardy-proposed, hardy-backports (even though t seems to be empty right now) updates (otherwise this installation is unworkable with compiz switched on =), but this morning I noticed that the bookmarks in gnome appear to be gone, and re-adding them is no use, since they will disappear again immediately. The same goes for firefox, and perhaps other places which I haven't seen yet.
Also, (I don't know if it's related, but it's a funny time for this issue to be popping up) when I try to open synaptic either via systems->administration->Synaptic or by executing "gksudo synaptic" I get "Failed to run /usr/sbin/synaptic as user root. Unable to copy the user's Xauthorization file." "sudo synaptic" from the cli still seems to work though. Sorry for the lack of a screenshot, but that seems to fail atm. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Hardy-proposed] bookmarks in gnome not showing up https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/233938 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
