Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimp
In GIMP, currently 2.4.5 in Hardy, when a user, such as myself, selects "Help > Help" or hits F1 to bring up the GIMP help browser, the following error occurs: helpbrowser Message The GIMP help files were not found. Please make sure gimp-help-en is installed, or the appropriate gimp-help package for your language. Can we get APT/gdebi to pop up and offer to install the help browser, dependent on the user's locale? I believe this is an accessibility issue and results in the user having to use the command-line. ** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Selecting "Help > Help" or F1, does not suggestion install method https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236848 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
