I have retested with audacious 2.3-1ubuntu4, and it does seem to have
managed to remove all the debug tracing. So I guess this bug could be
closed.

Yes, many newer applications share the problem of unwanted stdout/stderr
messages. That doesn't make this not a bug in this application.

Isn't it like more or less every application shows something every now
and then when run from terminal? Good though that the main part of this
bug is fixed.

Looks like the amidi-plug debug has gone, yes. That LASTFM: (cleanup)
Cleanup finished looks like debug output to me, though.
