Yes, it seems to work with Intrepid now. I have just tried a few times and it works fine. In fact it was a bug with gnome I think. With KDE I never had this problem. I also tried other distros and there it was the same - kde works, gnome freezes. So at last I can suspend now, some days after

Where can I find the newer kernel? In the respositories from ubuntu I can only find the 2.6.24, even after activating hardy proposed and backports. I don't want to install beta right now. But I've just tried with the live cd - and it didn't work either. Suspend seems to work, but waking up does
