I'm seeing a similar crash (g_signal_emit, and g_closure_invoke) although my stack-trace is much shorter. There's no need to even have an SVG file as input. I'm trying to annotate a '.png' file (just an image) Env: Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex (8.10) inkscape is: Inkscape 0.46 (Oct 24 2008) To
