Marking Fix Released, tested in Intrepid, not a problem.
Note you can apply for these fixes to appear in Hardy etc by adding
hardy-backports as a package, or choose also affects.
This will nominate it for backporting.

If my mind serves me correctly I don't remember experiencing this bug in
8.10. But even so, 8.04 is an LTS release, so doesn't that mean that
this should be fixed in 8.04?
