I am using a Jaunty LiveCD right now and a middle-mouse press on a
pathbar button opens the folder in a new tab. I have changed the status
to 'fix-released'. Correct me if that was the wrong thing to do :-).

I think that middle-click is bad idea for opening new tabs. Better idea
is default opening new folders in tabs (like in Firefox), so middle-
click rather replace with double-click via left-button-mouse.
