My amd64 system with a nvidia chipset hangs on boot with the latest
intrepid kernel (2.6.26-5-generic). The last lines it prints are:
...
pci 0000:00:0c.0: Enabling HT MSI Mapping
pci 0000:00:0d.0: Enabling HT MSI Mapping
[hang]
It does not always hang, maybe 50% of the boots.
