In SVN trunk (what will eventually be in Jaunty), it does this:
dolphin(7880) KFilePlacesModel::dropMimeData: URL not added to Places as
mimetype could not be determined!
I guess that's better than crashing. I have updated the KDE bug
accordingly.

I'm running KDE from SVN trunk on another machine, so I'll see if the
bug still occurs there.
