The bug should be Invalid, because having your speaker channel off is
not a bug. Fix Committed means a patch is available and has been
committed to Ubuntu's git or bzr of it. Fix Released means a package
has been released to the repos containing the fix that was committed.

Found the fix in a previous post. Double click on the sound icon on the
top. Click on the switches tab and check speakers. Thanks Mackenzie

Not at all. The volume keys on the keyboard turns the volume up but
still no sound. I have tried some bug fixes on Ubuntu community but to
no avail.
