Binary package hint: gnome-app-install
After installing Xubuntu 8.04.1 and all updates on a Dell Inspiron 7000,
Add/Remove Programs doesn't recognize that certain programs were
installed with Xubuntu.
The following programs I know to be installed, but are not checked (shown as
installed) in the Add/Remove Programs dialog:
AbiWord
Gnumeric
** Affects: gnome-app-install (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
