Public bug reported:
First run through with the Alpha 5 build of Intrepid. My Epson 2450
scanner is not seen when attached via firewire. It works fine when
attached via USB2.0 but the kernel does not see anything on the firewire
hub. The only thing XSane brings up as a recognized device is my
Hauppage VCR chip. Trying to scan through this results in a nice kernel
crash :)
