Public bug reported:

I just installed Intrepid on my Acer Aspire one.
When activateing the wireless via "System > Admininstratio > Hardware Drivers" 
I do not get a device (checked with iwconfig).
When I deactivate it and put ath_pci in /etc/modules and boot again, I get a 
device and can use my wireless.

Installed Kernel is 2.6.27-3-generic.

Driver Versions:
/sys/module/ath5k: 0.5.0 (EXPERIMENTAL)
/sys/module/ath_hal: 0.9.18.0
/sys/module/ath_pci: 0.9.4
