bug fixed in 8.10 kernel linux 2.6.27-5-generic . system up-to-date. [yay beta!] auto connection to wifi works. hex key properly handled by networkmanager. note: both wifi and wired network connections remain active at the same time -- wireless lan does not automatically start when wired
