I can confirm this bug on a Zepto Znote 6615WD with up-to-date Ubuntu

In fact the problem seems that X.org sends continuous KeyPress/KeyRelease
events for those keys after they have been pressed just once, as revealed by

The exact same problem is also happing with Intrepid release candidate, in my
HP Pavilion ZV6000 laptop.
The only solution is to hit the ctrl+alt+backspace keys.
