Public bug reported:

After upgrading to 8.10 I have an "unexpected inconsistency" mounting my second 
drive /dev/sdb3
superblock has an invalid ext3journal (inode 8).

fsck is unable to recover the error.

Using a prior kernel 2.6.24-21 results in a successfull automatic file-check, 
after manually doing a tune2fs -j the
fs can be used again without any problem.

Sorry that I couldn't  switch to the right package
