Public bug reported:

I am using 8.10 and started Add/Remove Applications window, and double clicked
(without moving the mouse) on a application listed to install it and it's not
getting selected to install visually but the button apply changes activates.
After moving the mouse the application appears selected.
Even stranger behaviour us double click to install and without moving the mouse
(no visual effect) then double click to uninstall and the application gets
visually selected to be installed despite I clicked to uninstall it...

Can someone confirm this on their systems? If this bug actually happens
on all systems it's quite bad for new, unexerienced ubuntu users.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
