Public bug reported: My config :
Ubuntu intrepid (development branch) Release: 8.10 Nvidia 8600 GTS (drivers version 177) 2 marvell network cards on an Asus P5E3 Deluxe (I'm using only one) Compiz activated, vmware server 2.0 installed and one winxp virtual machine running. The problem is with Applet NetworkManager 0.7.0 (which I couldn't find in the list O_o) When I set up a manual IP adresse for my network card (eth1), it's working fine, but when I reboot, the config is lost, I have to do it all over again. It's coming back to dhcp. I had a look in /etc/netword/interfaces, the only thing inside is : auto lo iface lo inet loopback I suppose this is a bug. Anyone experiencing this ?
