This has been fixed in 9.04. We no longer need to read in a bunch of
unnecessary variables like that.

This is from commenting out REMOTE_LIRCD_CONF. Granted MCC shouldn't be
that dependent upon looking for particular keys. Uncomment it (even if
you put junk in it) and it will work again.
