Ok then, please ignore my `rm ~/.me-tv/channels.conf` suggestion. See if you can get the scan application working (http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Scan). If you can't then there's a more generic issue with your DVB setup i.e. a driver issue. If you can, then you can use the resulting

I think that this is a dvb-utils package issue, the initial scan/tuning file that they provide is out of date. Channel 7 changed their Guard Interval a little while back but Hardy users are still using the old setting. Which region did you use to scan? If you can't remember then look in

Hi Michael, Thanks for your ultra quick assistance. In answer to your questions I provide: 1. The region I scanned was the 3 provided for Sydney. They are 2 for North Shore and 1 for Kings Cross. None discovered channel 7. 2. I have tried scanning with all available east cost regions but none
