I was able to recover my contacts. I discovered that the old (Hardy-
era) addressbook.db appeared to be using Berkeley DB version 7, while

evolution --force-shutdown
cd ~/.evolution/
I am just seeing this bug now as well. Does anyone know how to get my
contacts back? They still appear to exist in
~/.evolution/addressbook/local/system/addressbook.db.

And digging deeper shows me that my calendar is still there also, but it's in
not in the '~/.evolution/calendar/local/system/' folder so it's probably isn't
being read as well.

Yes, but first, please try looking through your ~/.evolution to see if
the data is really missing or if it is just not being read for some
reason.

It also looks like my calendar appointments are gone too. I've got a
backup of my installation before the upgrade. Would it be helpful if I
restored the image and ran through upgrade process again? I can't
guarantee that I'll be able to do this until late tomorrow though.
