According to the upstream report your crash is in the X driver for your
video card. (Plasma can't crash X directly, but it can expose bugs in
the video drivers.)

Just tested a bit further.
Disabling triplebuffer seems to solve the crash, so you seem to be right. Had
that in my config since long time, as i read it should improve performance on
nvidia cards (the old known issue, that should be gone now with actual drivers.)
But maybe that helps someone
