Afraid not - I've tried adding and removing all the widgets, but my
problem is that some of them take up more space than they need to - a
slightly dodgy illustration would be that the system tray is this big
|--|
but it takes up this much space on the

the problem is either in kdebase-plasma or kdeplasma-addons.

If you go to the Add Widgets list and drag that to the very edge of your panel,
does that fix things?
