I only use VNC, I can't test RDP at the moment, maybe someone else who's

I'm experiencing the problems as eugenesan.
This happened after I upgraded from Kubuntu 8.04 to 8.10.
I made a screen shot, remote desktop viewer gives a better picture then
krdc but it is also unusable.
