The icon in /usr/share/gxmms2/gxmms2_mini.xpm is too small and does not
look nice. It's a black note and you cannot distinguish it from a dark
background (when you use a dark theme like DarkRoom).
Maybe we should split the xmms2 icon from xmms2-core and put it in an
extra package called xmms2-icon
Is it really necessay moving xmms2-core to Depends field?
gxmms2 installs an icon, usr/share/gxmms2/gxmms2_mini.xpm, could you
think it's possible using it as .desktop icon?

I don't know C that well, but from glancing over the code, it looks like
the program is trying to retrieve the initial volume from the left
channel, but xmms2 doesn't return a result for the left channel. It only
returns a master volume.

I am using the pulse output plugin. Before starting gxmms2 "xmms2
volume_list" returns "master = 100". After starting gxmms2 x"mms2
volume_list" returns "master = 0".
