Still here with 2.6.31-9-generic kernel. Affects all soft that uses the webcam
(Pidgin, Empathy, Ekiga,…), not only Cheese.

Hi all, is it possible for you to check with latest intrepid fully
updated?
This is more like a kernel issue than a cheese one.
Would it be possible to get this info from the reporters?
1.- gnome bug report is asking for the output from a command, would it
be possible for some of the reporters
