Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
using Intrepid Ibex (8.10) $ apt-cache policy openoffice.org openoffice.org: Installed: 1:2.4.1-11ubuntu2 I opened a .odt document (see attached) created w/ OOo writer before upgrading to Intrepid. It opened fine. Then I used File -> Save As... to rename the document and the new OOo crashes before it can save the file under the new name. As a work-around, I used the file manager to copy the file to the new folder and rename it. Again, the file opens fine, but now I can edit the file and save it with no problem... or so I thought... Later, while editing the document, OOo writer crashed on me and lost some of my most recent changes, even though it went through the "Recovery" process.
