Public bug reported:
After upgrading from 8.04 to 8.10 system is not usable with the 2.6.27-7
kernel. Booting to the older 2.6.24-21 kernel problems are not there.
I get audit messages, and crash dumps in dmesg when booting 2.6.27-7 but
not when booting 2.6.24-21
I will attach the dmesg as a separate file.
