being fixed with an update. For future reference you can manage the
status of your own bugs by clicking on the current status in the yellow
line and then choosing a new status in the revealed drop down box. You

Please check, whether this bug may already be solved. As i wrote
before, /etc/init.d/cups.dpkg-new seems now to be replaced
by /etc/init.d/cups, and since then cups server is working again at
startup. Can you confirm John G K?
