Public bug reported: Windows Xp do not boot.
By installing ubuntu 8.10 the partitiontable shows hda as sdb and sett the ubuntu partition at first. But my first harddisk is Windows Xp (IDE). Windows Xp do not boot. So I killed the ubuntu 8.10 installation and installing ubuntu 8.04.1 with no problems, partiontable show at first the IDE harddisk (HDA) and at second the SATA harddisk (SDA). ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: + Windows Xp do not boot. + By installing ubuntu 8.10 the partitiontable shows hda as sdb and sett the ubuntu partition at first.
