closing this bug as won't fix while actually it is something Ubuntu can't fix.

sane-backends-1.0.19 Lexmark-1.0 backend claims to be supporting
scanning with X1150. Z600 is still the only working driver for printing.

apparently a z600 driver does (somewhat work) for X1150. I found this
