Is it a problem/limitation in the omnikey (pcsc-omnikey package in Ubuntu multiverse and Debian non-free). This driver does not provide source code so we can't fix it. Omnikey should implement their driver as documented at http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ifdhandler-3/node13.html -- hal usb
