I'm guessing this worked fine under Windows OS? So it's not the age of
the player and the connection between it and the mboard are fine? I'm
guessing that you played HighDef Dvds through your previous OS without
trouble?

Thanks for the report, what kind of disc was the first one? what's the
exact error? could you run totem from the command line and attach the
output to the report? and please remember to only post 1 issue per

Hi Pedro,
OK, I inserted a commercial video dvd, an Adam Sandler movie, Chuck and
Larry after starting totem from the command line. Here is the result:

I installed libdvdcss2 which solved the inability to read from the
resource but the video still is too jerky to actually watch a video
