When I try to connect to a Mac with OS 10.5 using Remote Desktop Viewer
2.28.0.1 on Ubuntu 9.10 I get the following error message:
Authentication Unsupported
Authentication method to host XXX is unsupported. (30)
The SSH connection works

Managed to gain access to one of the macs on the network. Duplicated
those settings on the others - still no connections.

Please, run vinagre in a terminal: vinagre --gtk-vnc-debug
Try to connect into the OSX and paste here the output in terminal.

Duplicate bug reports. I am unsure if Vinagre handles the OS X built in
VNC server though. I have always installed a sep. client and found
success with that.
