I strongly believe this has been fixed by now. Please reopen if this is
still an issue in the current Ubuntu release, Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 -

Jaunty, please test the latest upstream kernel build -

Please include the following additional information, if you have not already
done so (pay attention to lspci's additional options), as required by the
Linux fortrock 2.6.27-10-generic something something something...
- I can't connect to the internet with the other kernel because the
wireless driver is broken! Sorry, but I don't have time to reboot just
for a uname.
I am attaching a copy of /var/log/kern.log, rather than dmesg - once
Here's the lspci output. It's perfectly useless for this bug, as the
problem is a missing symbol, not any problem with the hardware.
