Evolution appears in two - Internet and Office - menus with different icons and

This is my first debdiff, but this removes the Evolution entry from
Internet (as well as the duplicate entry in alacarte mentioned above).
The reason I removed that was because it was added in debian/ so this is
closer to upstream. If this approach isn't the best, perhaps we could
still eliminate
Sorry for spam: the description should have read debdiff to eliminate
the Evolution desktop entry under Internet (instead of Office).

Note that while Evolution has Contacts/Tasks/Calendars/Memos, it seems
like users have to configure email in it to use it even if they
initially launch it from Office/Evolution, so it's probably sane to hide
the Office menu because it's always an email client no matter what, and
users will see the

I would second last comment about the same logo in both entries, but
with different labels, like Evolution Mail and Evolution Calendar,
this could be a nice solution.

One is Evolution Mail, which specifically opens the mailer, and it is under
Internet. Fine by me.
One is Evolution, which is not specific to the mailer, and it is under
Office. Fine by me.
What's the problem, here?

Evolution appears in two - Internet and Office - menus with different icons
make the logo the same in both menu entries and label the mailer -under
Internet- as Evolution Mail and the calendar -under Office- as
Evolution Calendar. that, afaik, would solve the confusion.

This problem is back with a herd 4 plus a dist upgrade done today.
I agree the differences in icons and labels is very confusing and does
need correcting.
I do not remember seeing this after the herd 4 install.

We should try to come to a conclusion here.

I think there is need for that
I agree with this. I for one like to launch calendar (office
application) only when I need it rather than launching the email client
(web application) and then switch to calendar (it's slow :) ).
