I have same problem with Kmail and mime, it always say the error about
chiasmus like write up.

I've just discussed this on irc with some other kubuntu devs and the
consensus is that this is an upstream issue

Thanks for reporting this. I can confirm this issue on Intrepid with
KDE4.2rc1 packages installed. This seems to be a known issue upstream

I'm still trying to fathom whether this is a problem in the Kubuntu
packages or something that needs to be fixed up
