Hello,
with the permission of the original author, I have become the maintainer
of this project. The version in trunk (
https://code.launchpad.net/~olethanh/webboard/trunk ) now works fine
with paste.debian.net. I will try to make a new release next week.

I've also tried http://pastebin.com/, http://paste.ubuntu.com/, as well as the
default... none worked :S
Has anyone gotten this applet to work with any pasting services?

After further test, the paste.ubuntu.com API doesn't seem compatible.
The API is not documented so I don't know what need to be changed to
make this works
