Public bug reported:

After a recent update to the kdelibs5 package on Kubuntu Jaunty x64, KDE
4.2 fails to start properly. When logging on, it spends more time than
normal on the logon screen, and then it simply displays a screen with
only the desktop wallpaper on it. Various notification messages appear,
but Plasma does not start and the desktop does not appear. I tried
starting a Failsafe xterm session, and when I run "startkde" from that,
it complains many times about DBUS errors.

** Affects: kde4libs (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Invalid
