Public bug reported:

When connected in a VLAN'ed environment (ESX Server with VLAN and DELL
PowerConnect 2748 with VLAN enabled) the driver ATL1e doesn't pass the
incoming packet to upper iso/osi layers rendering network comunication
impossible.

to recreate the bug:
1) create a port group with a vlan ID in ESX
2) connect with a VLAN enabled port in a switch (I use DELL Powerconnect 2748)
3) plug my eee laptop

other box in the same environment do work correctly (they are Windows
2003 Server by the way), all the OS are able to talk to get IP, exchange
traffic but my laptop.

note also that:
1) I can read the traffic with tcpdump, tshark and other tools but the traffic
doesn't come up to the ISO/OSI stack to the OS
2) the NIC and the driver do work perfectly in a non VLAN'ed enviroromnent
3) Other OS's and PC are unaffected
4) no errors or whathever is logged in messages o kernel.log the OS is unaware
of the problems (and incoming packets)

I attach:
small tcpdump (arp exchange)
lspci
lspci -v regarding the nic
