Public bug reported: On both the x86 and x86_64 architectures running the native kernel of ubuntu 8.10 with 2.6.27-7-generic kernel, there is no linux-image-debug package available or other kernel debugging package. There have been a few similar bugs to this open, but none have been resolved. One points to ddeb.ubuntu.com, but this site does not contain debug packages for the specific kernel. I see from googling that packages were made for this:
