My comment on bug 57904 was based on the desktop CD. This bug is about
the alternate CD, where the CD-ROM checking tool is cdrom-checker. I'm

On bug 57904 I was told the cd-rom checker used on boot CDs is casper
rather than cdrom-checker so perhaps my previous comment should be a
separate bug. Or this entire bug should be moved to casper rather
than cdrom-checker

Note I have not watched Martin's video - missing the codecs, but this
bug sounds like what I was going to report as an ugly/messy screen (see
my screenshot).
Points to consider:
(1) You also don't really need the word Checking for every line.
(2) While the list of files will vary from release
