I think that I solved the problem yesterday evening, I have installed
adobe flash player and fingers crossed this seems to have worked.
I appreciate your quick response, and glad I joined the Ubuntu forum.

I have replied through the Ubuntu forum however I will reply to your
mail on the off chance that I did not follow the correct procedure.
