Public bug reported: On Kubuntu Jaunty, the Suspend and Hibernate buttons on the Kickoff menu directly invoke the pm-utils commands (pm-suspend and pm-hibernate) instead of calling the functions using PowerDevil through the DBUS. This means that the screen is not properly locked on resume from these modes, and PowerDevil does not update the powersaving state if the computer was plugged in or unplugged while it was asleep.
