saods9 6.2+dfsg-2 was uploaded for Quantal which fixes the problem
there.

For what it's worth, I also see this bug in 9.04. As a work around, I
noticed in synaptic that tcl 8.3, 8.4 and 8.5 were all installed. I
uninstalled tcl8.4. ds9 was also uninstalled. Idownloaded ds9 from the
author's site, and that worked without complaint.
