I tried booting off a Jaunty CD, and the LEDs work in that. So it's not really
an issue for me any more, but I'll get that debugging info in when I get a
chance.
It's a laptop; the model is in the bug title.

Can you include what keyboard model you're using? If it's a laptop
keyboard, what model laptop is it?
It may also be useful if you could include the information requested

Have you ruled out a hardware issue? If you dual boot, do they work in
other OS's? Do they flash at all during your boot up?

I'm not dual booting, but they do flash on at boot on the BIOS screen.
